Cat, it's not so much the "new" part that matters to me - it's the enjoyment and enthusiasm of doing them even when they're not new. A good partner - or rather, a good set of partners - should be able to use the same fantasy over and over, perhaps moving more deeper into it, or branching out a bit for interest.
I would be more switchy, but my wife doesn't seem to care for being on the bottom end. A few years ago I had a partner with whom it worked very well, though. She would like being dommish about 3/4 of the time, but once in a while she wanted to be the focus of attention. I can get quite a few "Friday" posts from those escapades...
